Katelyn is amazing!! From the initial phone call inquiring about their services all the way through to the board and train and handover lesson, I was impressed with the experience. Anya learned so much, as did I and my family. I was kept updated almost daily with pictures and videos of my dog and handouts about her training!

We sent our 9 mo Golden Retriever to Katelyn for the 3 week board and train and couldn't be happier with the training and attention we were provided.
Our dog came back to us trained with the best foundational commands we could ask for. There is a night-and-day difference in the dog’s confidence and willingness to please. Katelyn spent lots of time going over training with us and sent lots of videos during the process; all of which we will have access too in case we forget how the command is called and trained. I sent my almost 2 y/o great pyrenees, Kaya, to board and train for 3 weeks with Katelyn and she came back as my same floofy girl but SO much more obedient.
I originally sent her for help with leash pulling, barking/reactive when seeing other dogs out and about, and destructive tendencies/non-stop barking when leaving the house. It has only been one day since getting her back and she is already so much more in-tune with me during walks and less zoned in to other people/dogs she used to get distracted with or bark at. Katelyn kept me updated at least every other day with updates and videos to keep track of Kaya's progress. She was always there to text back answers to questions I had throughout and ensured me I can always reach back out moving forward should I have any further problems since there is lifetime support! Me and Kaya can't thank you enough, Katelyn!!

Katelyn was/is our trainer and we're extremely pleased with our dog's behavioral foundation and the continuing assistance she is providing. We went the 3 week route and while it's pricey, you really do get what you pay for. Of utmost importance is the included lifetime access to their help. I had high expectations and must say they have been met. Friends who have interacted with our dogs say they're totally different in a wonderful way. We no longer have the jerking on leashes, lunging at other dogs and people and they are much more obedient and compliant. The e-collar training has been very beneficial for off leash applications…It's very obvious that Katelyn has had extensive education on training dogs and in addition is adept at transferring this knowledge to owners!

Katelyn did such a wonderful job with our Great Dane, Milly. She came home better than we could've expected, and Katelyn left us with the knowledge and confidence to maintain and build on her training now that she is home. My pup was a rescue and had already been "trained" by another dog trainer in Wilmington. He just needed some basic manners instilled that I unfortunately had a hard time getting to stick. He was attacked while he was being walked downtown on his leash, and it left us both spooked and in turn he was very reactive on a leash. Katelyn took him into her home for 4 weeks, and I was instantly at ease with her and trusted the process. She kept us updated with frequent videos and photos of his progress. With each post I saw his confidence and I was so proud of him. The day after he came home I took him to Petsmart to get treats, then a walk in Home Depot and the vet's office for a check up.
He was a perfect gentleman and followed all the commands he was taught, and his behavior was so different which made me more relaxed as well. All I ever wanted for us was to be able to take him places like coffee shops, breweries, and the beach, this is now possible. We both have a new lease on life. I was literally crying happy tears in the Home Depot parking lot as I text Katelyn to tell her how life changing this was. It is a pricey training program but it's 1000% worth it and an investment into your pup’s life with you. I only regret not doing it sooner. Now Danny will live the life he has always deserved and for that I am eternally grateful!

Katelyn has been the biggest help ever with my lab, Bear. He has some reactivity issues that have been whipped into shape. He still struggles with the vet but Katelyn did not hesitate to offer to come with me and make sure everything went well. She really changed my life and my dog’s!!!

We’ve been working with Katelyn and have had a wonderful experience. You can really tell she enjoys working with dogs and is extremely knowledgeable. She’s great at explaining the why behind each technique she teaches. She comes to every session with a ton of energy, even our later evening sessions. She encourages us to reach out with questions between sessions and is quick to respond. Overall, we’ve had a great experience!

I was recommended by my groomer to go with a dog trainer named Katelyn! We had recently took on a pit mix puppy who was surrendered due to the owners inability to take care of her. Due to the lack of care she was showing early signs of bad behaviors that we knew if were not corrected quickly could turn into more serious problems as she grew to be a full size dog. We were at our wits end! We had fallen in love with her, but did not have the time to start from ground zero with training.
After working with Katelyn it was like there was a light at the end of the tunnel. We were finally seeing the GREAT dog we knew this puppy could be come to fruition. They didn’t do “all the work for us”, but they did give a strong foundation for both human and puppy that allowed us to continue the training with proper knowledge/resources.
As our puppy got older and new challenges came between walks, growing our family or introductions to new experience that were foreign to our pup, our trainer was just a text away to be able to discuss issues and we knew that if we ever needed a refresher or a new training session she was there!
