  • Our immersive Puppy Pro board & train package is a unique opportunity for your puppy to live with a professional dog trainer in a true home environment.

    Ideal for young pups beginning their training journey, our Puppy Pro package lays the foundation for lifelong good behavior. Your puppy will learn basic commands like Sit, Down, Place, and Come, along with leash manners and crate training. With structured playtime and intentional socialization, we'll help your pup gain confidence in different settings while still looking to you for guidance. A great dog starts with puppy training!

  • Our Essentials board & train package focuses on building good behavior habits. Your pooch will develop a strong foundation of usable commands, learn leash manners and kennel etiquette, and begin looking to you for guidance. It's the perfect starting point for a well-mannered dog!

  • This is the sweet spot for most owners! Our Standard training package dives deeper into obedience training by refining verbal cue reliability and honing the more complex Heel command. We target mindset issues by teaching a dog how to relax inside and outside the home.

    Geared for improving focus and impulse control even in public settings, this training enhances skills for the real world, even for dogs displaying some reactivity.

  • Ready to take your dog's training to the next level? Unleash true freedom for your canine companion!

    Through positively-reinforced e-collar training, your dog will learn to respond even without a leash. Our Unleashed package targets moderate reactivity and features a Midway Training Lesson for owners to train alongside their dog for 60-90 minutes while their dog is partially through their program.

    Whether it's hiking trails or enjoying beach adventures, e-collar training empowers your dog to stay connected and responsive.

  • Is your dog struggling with behavior issues like aggression, extreme reactivity, anxiety, or fearfulness? We tailor training to rehabilitate dogs—even those with a bite history. With a combination of behavior modification protocols and Balanced Training techniques, we work to build confidence and trust so your dog can thrive in their environment. To ensure owners are equipped for success, rehab cases also include a Midway Training Lesson (60-90 minutes).

Our board & trains are conducted in the personal home of an experienced trainer. We believe training in an immersive home environment, rather than a sterile facility, better prepares a dog for the real world. Don’t worry, we’ll show you how to maintain the training in your home too!

  • Think of it like sleep-away summer camp! With board & train packages ranging from 2-5 weeks, your dog will live with an experienced trainer in their home to expedite learning.

    We’ll keep you updated with videos to watch your dog progress and jumpstart the human side of dog training. Then your trainer will show you how to maintain the new training at home with an extensive 2-5 hour Homecoming Lesson. Every board & train package includes a Transition Guidebook, a complimentary Follow-Up Refresher, and our Lifetime Support Guarantee.

  • Every package includes home and public training settings, name recognition proficiency, duration in commands (Implied Stay), threshold manners at exits, kennel training, and an introduction to relaxed mindset training. We also address minor problem behaviors, such as leash-pulling, jumping, or begging for food.

    The basic command vocabulary we teach includes: Sit, Down, Place, Come (recall), Off (knock it off), and Let’s Go (loose leash walk). Our more advanced packages also teach the command Heel (formal walk).

  • Absolutely! We keep owners informed about their dog's progress through regular videos and pictures. With new content uploaded every other day or so, these pupdates are conveniently posted in a shareable link folder for you to keep as a training resource.

  • At Sweet Spot Dog Training, we incorporate an “Implied Stay” approach because we believe in practical commands that truly enhance your dog's behavior. This means when we give a command, we expect your dog to maintain that position until released, ensuring better obedience in real-world scenarios...with fewer words for you (and your dog) to remember!

  • For optimal learning conditions, we do not allow social visits to interrupt the training period. Our Unleashed Package and Rehabilitation Package each incorporate a Midway Training Lesson, inviting owners to actively participate in their dog's training for 60-90 minutes while their dog is partially through the program.
